Hiring: COPE Campaign Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the COPE Campaign Committee weekly, the COPE Campaign Manager will be responsible for both the day-to-day management of staff and for the direction of all campaign activities including but not limited to fundraising, voter contact, signs, data management, volunteer recruitment and deployment, candidate activities, community outreach, communications whether online or print, and management of media relations and media interviews during the COPE 2018 Vancouver municipal election campaign.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of campaign management, be a skilled problem-solver, and have superior abilities for management of teams with a short timeline. In addition to being a strong manager, the successful candidate should have experience with voter contact, campaign communications, and ground game mobilization, as well as strong interpersonal communication skills so as to maximize the strengths and capacities of our candidates, membership, executive, and volunteer base.

Compensation: $4,000/month or commensurate with experience
